We had a great time at our workshop this past Summer (Aug 12th, 2016). (workshop slide-show available on the 'Resources' page) Make plans to join us next Summer as we're planning to make this workshop an annual event; a good 'head-start' for educators who can attend.
Another Irving Middle School appearance in front of a room-full of Devon employees on April 7, 2016. They did an awesome job presenting their city (and the 'Future City' program at-large). Neat opportunity for the Irving students as well as PR for the competition!
Irving Middle School presenting their city, "New Norman", at the Joint Engineering Society banquet on Feb 25 as a wrap-up to Engineers Week 2016.
Posing w/ the team was the evening's guest speaker, Colonel Charles M Gaona, who thoroughly enjoyed the team's presentation and chatting with the students after the program was over. Well done, "New Norman"
Congratulations to Saint Philip Neri's team "Moscovia" for winning the 2015-2016 regional competition! Nice work, gals/guys!
