The winners of the Pittsburgh Regional Future Competition held on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at Carnegie Music Hall were:

  • First Place: Harrison Middle School
  • Second Place: Riverview JSHS
  • Third Place: Trinity Middle School
  • Fourth Place: St.Bede School
  • Fifth Place: Saltsburg MS

Harrison Middle School traveled to Washington DC during Engineers' Week to represent the Pittsburgh Region in the National Finals. They captured the "Best Use of Aerospace Technology in a Future City" sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, National Capital Section.
