About the Future City Competition
The Future City Competition, for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students, is an education program for middle school students (6th, 7th, and 8th graders) to use their imaginations to design a city of the future. The students work with their teacher coach and en engineer-mentor from the community to design and build their cities. Students apply math, science, engineering, and technology knowledge and enhance their writing and presentation skills during this exciting four-month program!  Winners of the regional and national competition win prizes for their classrooms, and past winners of the national competition have gotten to go to the White House and meet the President of the United States! You can register today by visiting www.FutureCity.org or you can contact Jen Smith at fcc.albany@yahoo.com.
