The Minnesota Regional Future City Competition will take place on January 18, 2020 at Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount.

7:30 a.m. Check-in for team members (up to 5 students per team), teachers, mentors, and judges. (Central Commons)

7:30-8:15 Teams set up models in classrooms or hallways. Coffee, hot chocolate, donuts provided in Central Commons for all.

8:15 Welcome (Central Commons).

8:00-8:25 Orientation for Presentation/City Model Judges and Special Award Judges.

8:30-11:50 Presentation/City Model Judging and Special Awards Judging. Parents and other visitors: please do not enter the judging areas (classrooms and hallways) until 11:50.

11:50 Teams move their models to tables on Level 2 - overlooking Central Commons.

11:50 - 1:00 p.m. Lunch (Central Commons), public viewing of models, People's Choice voting. Lunch is provided for student team members, teachers, mentors, judges, and other volunteers.

12:50 - 1:15 Announcements (Central Commons) - recognition of teams and sponsors, announcement of top 5 finalist teams.

1:15 Top 5 teams move to Dakota Room and set up their models.

1:15 - 1:35 Everyone finds seating in Dakota Room (overflow seating in Central Commons - afternoon program will be streamed)

1:45 - 4:00 Top 5 teams present and special awards given out.

4:00-4:15 Final awards ceremony. 1st place team announced.

4:15-4:45 First place team meets with FCC Coordinator to discuss travel arrangements.
